Bridal Emergency Wedding Day Bag

Life happens, especially on your wedding day. Little problems can arise. That is where an emergency kit becomes a lifesaver. This kit isn't just helpful. It is essential.

Let's get straight to the important list:

Plasters

Because who wouldn't want some comfort relief from that sore blister your new shoes have caused? Or even worse, you might regret choosing those Roses in your bouquet, as they have dug into your fingers multiple times now, and it just won't stop bleeding on your pristine dress.

Hair spray

That one piece of hair that is softly blowing against your forehead annoying you to bits, set it down in its place with the little helpful can of hairspray you remembered in your emergency bag, you can get travel size ones that are easy to carry.

Perfume

Smelling bad on the day when relations from near and far are hugging you, is the worst thought. Smell like fresh scented blossom all day long with your favourite topped up perfume.

Paracetamol / Ibuprofen

Too much prosecco gives me a headache, let alone mixing it with the dinner wine and shots your friends are buying. So I understand the importance of keeping it away with some painkillers. Why wouldn't you?

Sugary snacks

There may be hours between breakfast and the next snack or meal. On top of it, the hungry noises from the Brides’ stomach calling out for something to eat, is not a memory you want from the day. Even the smallest of sweet will help keep your sugar levels charged too.

Water

A thirsty Bride can not smile as her teeth are stuck to her lips, and who wants that? Keep hydrated all day long.

Brush / comb

If long hair is down, you can guarantee it will get knotty, define that soft brushed look with your little comb or brush you remembered to pack in your emergency bag!

Nail file / nail scissors

Nail files can actually make for a very useful tool. As well as keeping your cute nails in shape, there may be an irritating label that needs some filing down or your eyeliner pencil may need sharpening up.

Lip balm / Lipstick

I don't think I need to stress how very important this one is. Keep those lips looking fresh for photos and selfies all day long.

Tissues

It is a real emotional day for everyone, not just for the happy couple. So have these handy sized tissues at the ready.

Mints

Don't breathe over any guests with garlic breath, cigarette smelling breath or alcoholic breath. Take it into hand for just one minute by consuming a mint.

Pocket mirror

Looky looky here! A pocket size mirror for those poses, as we check our teeth, squeeze a pimple and pluck a brow hair. Simple and yet probably the most useful item in the bag.

What a great list! I remember needing chap stick during my wedding. Funny how little things can distract you.
