A round up of my favourite posts from 2022

Published on 2 January 2023 at 12:48

Welcome 2023, it seems like I have been counting down since October to finally welcome you. 2023 is hopefully going to be a special year for me in particular, as I turn 40! Eeekk. You will definitely all be informed of my adventures along the way.

But this post is to cover what I have been up to on my blog the past 12 months so here goes:

I started off the year by releasing a post that I had been itching to get out for a while, it stayed drafted though as it is quite a controversial topic, I was proud to receive some great comments on it in the end:

Another great post back in February made me feel like I was on fire with my topics and that's when the support of your readers really means so much:

A special moment

Also in February I was so chuffed to announce that my little blog had received 1000 visitors, how amazing is that? In less than 12 months as well. Proudest moment so far in this journey for definite.

Earlier on in the year I was very organised and my new blog bestie was my planner. Here is my post about this:

Summer turned up quicker than we could blink and I couldn't wait to release this post. To share all of my exciting experiences I enjoy throughout the Summer months:

Next up, was a personal favourite of mine. I shared a very poignant moment during my school time and in particular one of my drama lessons, enjoy another read here:

In August, I posted a helpful tip blog for those who were starting Secondary school. Having been there myself I wanted to pass on my experience:

Now this post was something I had been working on for a few months because I wanted to get it right. I wanted to say what I had to say without sounding pessimistic towards anyone else. I hope it turned out ok, take a look here:

Before I could blink my birthday was upon us and I couldn't wait to release this post on some Celebrities who also share my birthday:

Plans for my blog this year

  • First up I was bought a thoughtful gift by my partner at Christmas for a creative blogging and writing course online, starting next week for 10 weeks and I am so excited! I am hoping this course will help me abit more with the structuring of my writing for a more enjoyable read.

  • I also want to try and get on top of my organising and to post regularly again. My next two months are well and truly fun packed but I must keep ahead of the game.
  • And finally, after 113 posts, I will embark on the self hosting road. Changing my website to a different host giving me more options and in the long run, more views and visitors.

What a year it was for my little blog. I am super excited for 2023 and hopefully being able to reach so many more milestones.

Thank you so much for reading.

Have you made any New Year's resolutions?

Name one great thing that happened for you in 2022.
